Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers are welcome to come learn, create, and find community! PAL lasts one hour and usually follows this schedule:
Sensory-friendly storytime with puppets, songs, and bubbles (20 minutes)
March's themed group activity: Learn about color theory and create a giant color wheel! (20 minutes)
Creativity stations (adult coloring pages or Lego building, etc.) (20 Minutes)
All materials provided. Registration is required. Please register each participant. Participants are asked to attend with a caregiver (caregivers do not need to register). Register here: https://cityofsalemlibrary.libcal.com/event/15328748
An American Sign Language interpreter will be present whenever possible.
Free. This program is supported by the Salem Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Salem Public Library.
¡Se invita a los adultos con discapacidades intelectuales y del desarrollo y a sus cuidadores a venir a aprender, crear y encontrar comunidad! PAL dura una hora y generalmente sigue este horario:

Estaciones de creatividad (páginas para colorear para adultos o construcción con legos, etc.) (20 minutos)
