Pajamas

In an era of precision-crafted playlists and algorithmic recommendations, Pajamas is a refreshing anomaly. Hailing from Ann Arbor, MI, Pajamas' style has been described as “exploratory rock" - a good descriptor for Pajamas’ sound which contains a smorgasbord of influences from across almost the whole canon of American music tradition. This four man group is redefining the live music experience, standing on the shoulders of giants and crafting performances that are as much about the journey as the destination.

“Despite small-town roots in Dexter the band Pajamas boasts a world-view vibe that’s all about “exploration and improvisation.” (Holland Sentinel)
“Nothing feels forced, they let the songs breathe,” he said. “It’s just really fun seeing a band kind of spread their wings like that. … They definitely know how to party.” (94.9 WSJM)
"I think that my finally coming around to this genre came from a handful of mid-Michigan area bands that have revitalized Jam... That includes this band Pajamas, an Ann Arbor trio that have this mellow, melodic, smooth groove going on. Crisp, warm tones and harmonies and croony, cool vocals and really tight instrumental chemistry between them. Kind of arranged for psych rock but also softer jazz vibes." - Jeff Milo (Current, WDET)
