Have you ever wanted to learn how to stretch your own canvases? In this workshop students will learn the basics of stretching a canvas. This skill can be used for future painting projects as well! The second portion of this workshop will be Acrylic Staining, creating acrylic washes that are painted and applied to unprimed, raw canvas. This workshop does take some hand strength to use staple guns and stretch the fabric onto wooden frames. There are also multiple steps to the acrylic washes, and a bit of energy is needed for this workshop.
There will be a short break provided for students for lunch. Bring your lunch or grab something downtown.
