About this Event
Matt Worden is south Manchester based and who works full time as a freelance artist carving a living from several different aspects of a creative life under the brand ArtSocial. As well as being a figurative painter he runs a lively programme of art classes in and around Whalley Range. These sessions include regular art socials and life drawing and portrait classes at the iconic Carlton Club. In his paintings he is particularly interested in painting the people and their stuff, elevating the everyday into art.
The exhibition will be available to view at Station South from Thursday 18th June to Sunday 14th July. We’ll be marking the launch with an open event where you can meet Matt, get a first look at the work, enjoy happy‑hour drinks and hear sets from our launch‑night DJs.
