Join Dianne Sutherland at Atelier Clos Mirabel for a week of botanical drawing and painting in South-West France. This workshop aims to see you through the process of hand making your own small sketchbook, to filling each page with unique botanical artwork of your observations. You will learn the necessary sketching and watercolour techniques, such as wet and dry painting methods in which Dianne specialises. You will also master how to compose a page in your book by identifying the important plant properties, as well as how to appropriately annotate the pages with written texts and plant stories.
