Join us on the second Wednesday of each month (1 exception to that rule) to paint with Jennifer, our resident artist and licensed art teacher. In February we're painting with plaster. Colors will be muted if you mix the paint with the plaster. If you want bright bold colors you will need to paint your piece after it's completely dry at home on your own.
Minimum of 4 participants
You MUST register with the Rec program.
Things to know:
Plaster is premixed. You will get small amounts to practice strokes or techniques you like. More instructions will be given that night.
Acrylics do not come out of clothes, so dress according (aprons provided).
You will need to work fairly quickly so think about your piece as you practice.
Ask her whatever art related questions you have. She's full of knowledge!
Instructor most likely won't finish a painting with you. She shows you what to do and how to do it and then helps those who ask.
We want it to be fun for everyone so we ask that you keep the conversions light and refrain from excessive profanity.
If the school districts cancel school or after school activities, the event will be canceled. You will either get a refund or you can use the funds for another painting event of equal value.
