Paint Your Own Tote Bag Workshop

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll design and paint your very own tote bag to take home. You can create anything you like — from colourful illustrations and florals to patterns, lettering or something completely unique to you.

I’ll guide you through the process, share painting tips and help you bring your idea to life. No previous painting or art experience is needed — this workshop is all about having fun, switching off for a little while and enjoying being creative.

All materials are provided, including your tote bag, paints and brushes.

Artist Bio

Steph Brown is a Mexican illustrator and workshop facilitator based in Scotland and the founder of Coomo Art. Her creative practice is inspired by women’s stories, identity, community and her Mexican heritage.

Steph runs relaxed, beginner-friendly art workshops across Glasgow and Edinburgh, including painting, illustration and zine-making sessions. She has worked with organisations and creative spaces including MILK Community, Glasgow Art Club and Glasgow Art Café, with a focus on making art feel welcoming and accessible — even for people who don’t consider themselves “artistic.”
