Join us for a purr-sonalized artistic adventure with our “Paint Your Cat on Canvas” class, where creativity and cat people come together. Hosted once a month in the cozy ambiance of our cafe, this two-hour painting extravaganza is not just about crafting a masterpiece; it’s a celebration of whiskers, paws, and all things cat-tastic!Your canvas creation isn’t just a painting, it’s a cherished piece of art that makes for a purr-fectly unique gift or a whimsical addition to your own space. Nichol, our pawsitively amazing teacher, guides you through various techniques to ensure your painting transforms into a true meow-sterpiece.
Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just dipping your whiskers into the world of art, Paint Your Cat on Canvas promises laughter, joy, and a whisker-lickin’ good time. So, grab a friend, reserve your spot, and let the paint and purrs flow!
Reservations are needed to join the class. Once you have signed up online for your spot, submit an image to paint. The instructor will draw it out for you so you have a base to start with. Choose a photo that focuses on your cat so that your painting can come out the best. Something to keep in mind is weird positions will make the image more challenging to paint. We suggest sending in a photo of your cat in a seated pose with a closed mouth for the best painting experience. Make sure to send a photo with only one cat in it as that is all you will have time for, you can always join again to paint your other cats!
About the Teacher: Nichol Pederson has always had a passion for kitties. She started rescuing and TNR kitties over the past few years. She started to paint some of those kitties that were rescued. Self taught she has now over 30 paintings finished. Several people mentioned to her that she should sell her paintings. Now she paints kitty portraits of other peoples kitties.
