Paint the Town Purple" Community Walk & Family Field Day

The Community Walk & Family Field Day is a joyful gathering offering space for rest, connection, and collective healing for families, friends, and neighbors 💜

In partnership with Black Women Adventures, California Black Women’s Health Project, GirlTREK, Playworks SoCal, Black Beauty & Wellness Foundation, Take Action LA, and in collaboration with the LA County Department of Mental Health, this event brings the community together to prioritize mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing ✨

Attendees can enjoy giveaways and a specially curated DJ set featuring uplifting music for both movement and relaxation 🎶 Double Dutch demonstrations will bring high-energy performance and participatory fun, while a variety of field day games and activities invite play for all ages 🏃🏾‍♀️

For those seeking restoration, a guided sound bath will offer a calming experience for stress relief and grounding 🧘🏾‍♀️ Onsite mental health screenings and resource tables will connect participants with culturally responsive care and valuable information 🩺

Additional offerings include wellness activities, kid-friendly experiences, and healthy food options 🥤 all designed to support and uplift the community
