Paint Rocks for Akron's Biker for Boobs
🩷 PAINTED ROCKS OF HOPE — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🩷
Every year, Akron Bikers for Boobs gives out painted pocket rocks at the end of September — little reminders of hope, strength, encouragement and support.
This year, they reached out because they need more rocks, so we’re jumping in to help! 🎨🪨
📅 SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13
⏰ Starting at Noon
📍 KimTam Park at Melanie Springs
We’ll have a table set up and spend the afternoon painting rocks together. You don't have to be an artist — come hang out, grab a brush and help us make some rocks! 🩷
🏍️ We’ll also be painting during Wednesday Bike Nights at KimTam!
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
🪨 Donate rocks — remember, these are pocket rocks. We need rocks, not landscaping boulders. 😂
🎨 Donate supplies — acrylic paint, paint pens, brushes, sealant or anything else we can use.
🩷 Paint some yourself! If you'd rather paint at home, that's awesome too. Bring your finished rocks to KimTam and we'll make sure they get where they need to go.
📦 DROP-OFFS
Rocks, painted rocks and painting supplies can be dropped off at KimTam Park.
Just tell them they're for Akron Bikers for Boobs — or find the Favorite Redhead. She'll know what to do with them. 😉❤️
All of the finished painted rocks need to be turned over to Amy Hunting by September 27, so we've got some painting to do!
Whether you paint one rock or twenty, donate a bag of rocks, bring us a couple bottles of paint or just sit down with us on a Wednesday night and paint one — it all helps.
Let's fill some pockets with a little hope. 🩷🪨
