Help Support Seaford Community Garden and our Veteran's Garden!

Since its founding in 2022, Seaford Community Garden has steadily grown from two gardens to four. Most people recognize our Veteran's Garden on High Street at the Pearl Street corner. It provides free, raised, ADA Compliant garden beds to veterans and people with physical handicaps. A little further back on the other side of Pearl Street sits our rental garden. This garden provides raised garden beds for a small annual fee to apartment dwellers and those who are unable to grow a garden in their yard. Across Pearl Street is the Giving Garden. In this garden, volunteers work together at the direction of a Garden Manager to grow organic produce that is donated to local food pantries, service organizations and other avenues to distribute to those in need in our community. We have averaged over 1000lbs of food per year since its integration! The fourth Garden, is in development as "Plaza Serena". This will offer seating and eating areas for community to gather together. Imagine a group of friends each grabbing takeout from their favorite restaurant along High Street and meeting to eat and converse with their favorite foods. Take the kids out for ice cream at Martha's and sit at the tables without worrying about if the kids will drip ice cream.
All of this is maintained by our amazing volunteers, sponsors, and people like you who choose to take part in our fundraisers.
