Join Liz Dwyer in a watercolor paint class and silent auction benefitting CureSearch- a childhood cancer research foundation!
Lauren Busby, a local 16 year old, will be joined by her dad, Jeff, and they will share with you why they participate in this fundraiser every year, in honor of her brother. And yes, she is hiking the 30.1 miles AGAIN this year!
The funds we raise will go directly to the cause and will help CureSearch find treatments and hopefully a cure for this terrible disease. One main function of CureSearch is to bridge the gap between federal funding and clinical trials to get to as many children in need, as possible.
Liz is an experienced artist who paints watercolor, sells her beautiful art and teaches classes! She has graciously offered to help with this fundraiser and offer her expertise as our instructor and fabulous host.
We will have light bites, a free beverage for the first 20 to arrive and obviously a ton of fun learning the art of watercolor!
Come ready to bid on silent auction items. We are trying to meet and exceed the goal of $2500.
