PAINT & SIP: Potheads & Vino de Mexico!

Paint an actual handmade PotHead from Guanajuato, Mexico, while sipping on six wines from Guanajuato! Presented by Abel Arriaga of Compa Spirits, this fun afternoon in the Cantina at BARCOA Agaveria promises to be one of the most unique Paint & Sips ever!

What are Pot Heads?

The Original PotHead was sown in July 2019 by entrepreneur and artist Isa Jones Álvarez with the intention to design products made to inspire the notion that ideas, abilities, and relationships are like seeds that when lovingly nourished, can grow into fruitful mediums for inner and outer prosperity. She began by painting and selling the PotHeads at markets in her hometown, San Miguel de Allende, México. Upon the PotHeads success, she shared them as a canvas for other artists in town. In March 2020 upon losing their other jobs due to the pandemic, the artisans became full time PotHead creators. Today, they work from home studios and make an elevated income from their passion for creating. The Original PotHead is now a team of 6+ potters and 30+ painters. But on September 28th, YOU are one of the painters!

What are the wines?

Well that's a surprise! But they are all from the same state that the Original PotHeads are made--Guanajuato. We will sip on bubbles, white wines, natural wines, reds, and a rosé. Bottles will be available for purchase at a discount as well.

What's included with my ticket?

• A blank PotHead (retails painted for about $45)
• 2-3oz. pours of 6 wines (approx. 2 glasses of wine total)
• All paint supplies
• Ability to purchase bottles of wine at a discount
• Good times with your neighbors!
• The bar will be open for additional cocktail/beer/wine/soda purchases
