Dive into an evening of creativity inspired by the beauty of the ocean. Create a colorful underwater flora and fauna painting with step-by-step guidance from our teaching artist and local painter, Mimi Doyo. Leave with a beautiful artwork to display at home and a memorable evening of creativity. Whether you're gathering with friends or enjoying a solo night out, it's the perfect opportunity to slow down, unwind, and create.
No experience? No problem! We welcome all skill levels. This class is about having fun and making memories, rather than producing a “perfect” painting. We encourage you to paint in a way that feels good for you!

Schedule
Doors Open | 5:30pm
Settle in, grab a drink, and enjoy complimentary charcuterie and sweet bites.
Painting | 6pm – 8pm
Live step-by-step art instruction as you create your own painting.
Social Hour | 8pm – 9pm
Unwind, mingle, and admire each other’s artwork while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.
Tickets
$45 per person
Includes paint supplies, one 12x16 take-home canvas, complimentary bites, and one drink of choice. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options available.
A portion of ticket sales go towards free and low-cost arts education programs for local students through our nonprofit organization, Stay Arts. Thank you for your support!
Meet your art instructor
Amy (Mimi) Doyo
she/her
Amy (Mimi) Doyo is a Filipino-American artist from Norwalk, CA specializing in introspective acrylic and oil paintings. Her creations draw inspiration from family life, memories and cultural identity. Mimi holds a BFA in Drawing & Painting from CSULB and is currently a teaching artist with Stay Arts.
