Paint & Sip Citrus & Cantaloupe: Acrylic Techniques in Light & Form

Explore the fundamentals of acrylic painting through a vibrant still life featuring cantaloupe, lemon, grapefruit, and cherries. Students will be guided step by step through sketching the composition and using acrylic paint to develop form, value, and color, while being encouraged to incorporate their own artistic style. Along the way, the instructor will demonstrate techniques for tinting color, glazing, layering, and blending, as well as creating depth through light and shadow. Each participant will complete a finished 12” × 9” canvas painting to take home. One complimentary beverage is included with registration.
