About this Event
Join us for a free, guided art class led by artist JJ Gonzalez Acosta in partnership with Art on the Avenue. Class will be capped at 30 participants. All materials will be provided and participants can take their art home with them. Open to all ages and skill levels!
- Please note, no rain dates. Cancellation notice will be provided 24 hours before the event.
- RSVP does not guarentee entry. Event is first-come, first-served.

About the artist:JJ Gonzalez Acosta is a visual artist from Valencia, Venezuela, who began his artistic journey at age 5, learning from his mother and aunts. He earned a B.A. in Arts Education and a Master's degree in management. In 2017, he moved to Orlando, Florida, where he taught art and origami. Since relocating to New York City in 2022, his work has been featured in Times Square, by Art on the Ave NYC, and Sing for Hope. JJ also teaches art in the public library system and paints Broadway portraits.
