Have you tried paper piecing? if so have you ever had to remove paper from your block/quilt after paper piecing? Were you satisfied with the time invested in trying to get all the little pieces of paper out of the seams? And did you notice your seams were no longer as strong as before? Did your stitches look loose? In this method you will enjoy the freedom from all the above worries! BONUS: your block will not end up with bias on the edges!Materials included
Class kit including foundations and fabrics to accomplish 1 block
Extra that you will supply:
Sewing machine in good working order (don’t forget to bring your foot pedal!) with a ¼ inch foot
Light colored thread i.e., white, cream, light grey (your preference)
Basic sewing notions you would normally bring to class
Small cutting mat/rotary cutter/ ruler… a 12” x 12” works but no fretting if it’s bigger.
Elmer’s Glue Stick (small is lots) or any WASHABLE glue stick
Add a Quarter ruler (available at SIU)
Paper scissors
small fabric scissors or thread snips
Class fee is $25 (class kit $5.00)
