Program begins February 2
Now accepting applications for a paid manufacturing training and internship program running February 2 – March 13. This opportunity is designed for young adults ages 17–30 who want to explore careers in modern manufacturing.
What interns receive (funded by the Arconic Foundation):
• Earn up to $1,500
• 100 paid hours with a local manufacturing company
• 15 paid half-days of Workforce Readiness Training
• 3 paid half-days of career planning, placement, and graduation
• Certificate of program completion
• Opportunity to earn a nationally recognized Certified Manufacturing Associate credential through Tooling U-SME
What you’ll gain:
• Hands-on manufacturing experience
• Technology and transferable workplace skills
• Resume development, references, and interview preparation
• A clear pathway to employment or continued education
Program outcomes:
• 75% of participants secure full-time employment
• 25% transition to postsecondary education or training
