Pahinjo Kirdaar - A Play

Pahinjo Kirdaar is an original theatre production based on real Sindhi oral histories – it comes to Pune with three performances. Real lives, stories you have never heard, stories you will love! Stories of education, displacement, and reinvention, brought to life on stage by an ensemble of skilled Mumbai actors. 

Of the 7 stories presented, one is a dialogue between siblings, Sati and Vishnu Shahani, who grew up in Pune and reminisce about the freedom struggle, when Vishnu was in jail for protesting against colonial rule and Sati had no choice but to run the family's Modern Book Stall

The play will be in English and will be followed by an audience interaction.
