Hello, fellow Page Turners and Coffee Lovers! Bring a picnic blanket, and attend our October Book Club Meet to discuss the gripping psychological horror novel by Stephen King, The Shining , over some delicious caffeinated beverages (or decaf!) and the most amazing baked goods at Circles and Squares Bakery (197 Bartley Dr).
In order to accommodate the working mamas, our October book meet will take place on Sunday, October 27th at 11am, at Circles and Squares Bakery who is graciously hosting us again! Not much of a reader? Join us anyway for the company ☕️🥐💖

Synopsis of The Shining by Stephen King:
Jack Torrance, his wife Wendy, and their young son Danny move into the Overlook Hotel, where Jack has been hired as the winter caretaker. Cut off from civilization for months, Jack hopes to battle alcoholism and uncontrolled rage while writing a play. Evil forces residing in the Overlook – which has a long and violent history – covet young Danny for his precognitive powers and exploit Jack’s weaknesses to try to claim the boy.
