Paddlesport for Care Experienced Young People in Cardiff Age 13-18
About this Event
Paddlesport Session
Designed specifically for care experienced young people, this session offers the chance to get outdoors, try something new, build confidence, and have fun on the water in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Funded by Cardiff Passport to the City and delivered by The Outdoor Partnership, participants may have the opportunity to experience activities such as kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding, depending on the conditions and session programme.
No previous experience is required, and all specialist equipment is provided by qualified instructors. If you're feeling a little nervous, that's completely normal – you're welcome to bring a friend or supportive adult along with you.
Venue facilities include:
- Free parking
- Changing rooms and showers
- Toilets
- Lockers available (£1 coin required)
Please note there is no permanent café onsite, so participants may wish to bring refreshments.
The Outdoor Partnership is committed to opening the doors to the outdoors, helping more people access, enjoy and benefit from outdoor activities within their local communities.
⚠️ Places are limited and funded. Please only book for young people and friend who will participate. If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so the place can be offered to another young person.
