Escape the ordinary and immerse yourself in a blissful day of adventure and relaxation with our Paddle and Poses Retreat! Join us a rejuvenating yoga session amidst the serene surroundings of the beach and park. This outdoor yoga practice will help you find balance, strength, and inner peace as you connect with the natural world around you. Once your body is loosened up, you’ll transition to a refreshing two-hour guided beginner kayaking excursion, where you'll paddle along scenic Fort Niagara and the Niagara-on-the-Lake shoreline to soak in the tranquil beauty of nature.
After the expedition we’ll make our way to a craft brewery in Niagara-on-the-Lake for 4 - 5oz craft beers. Relax and unwind with fellow adventurers, sharing stories and laughter as you savor the flavors of a craft beers and a bite to eat on the patio. At the end of the day, stay to stroll old town Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Location: Meet at the gazebo at Queen’s Royal Park, 45 Front St., Niagara-on-the-Lake
Time: 10 am - 3 pm
Skill Level: All-levels yoga session, no kayaking experience required but must have enough upper body strength to paddle for 2 hours and not be afraid of water.
What's Included:
Yoga session by a registered yoga teacher
Two hour guided kayaking tour by an experienced and certified kayaking guide
Kayak, paddke, life jacket, safety equipment, & dry bag
Craft beer tasting at a local craft brewery. Four 5oz beers or a glass of wine
Lots of fun with like-minded adventurous women
What to Bring:
Water/snacks
Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting wet that can be worn for yoga and kayaking
Sandals or water shoes to wear in the kayak
A change of clothes
Sun screen
Bug Spray
Sunglasses/hat with a brim
Towel
Yoga mat
Money for lunch at the brewery (optional)
What to Know:
This event runs rain or shine. In the event of high winds, thunder and/or lightening the event will be postponed shortly until the weather clears or cancelled. If cancellation is required, you’ll have the option of attending the new date, accepting a credit for a future event, or receiving a full refund.
Please consider car pooling if coming in a group. Parking is limited. There is some free parking on nearby side streets but most is metered parking.
Washroom facilities available in the park.
