Paddle Skills Refresher

Do you feel like your paddle technique could be more efficient? Give your skills a refresh and refine your techniques to make paddling a breeze and keep you going strong all day. Learn from American Canoe Association-certified instructors how to fine tune basic strokes and improve your overall form.
Fee: $35 per person.
Age: Ages 18 and older.

Previous kayaking experience is required as instruction will focus on advancing existing paddling skills. Be sure to wear shoes and clothes that can get wet, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a water bottle.
Lake Chaminwood has an accessible launch and can be reached by a paved trail from the parking lot. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
