Paddle-In Movie: Creature from the Black Lagoon
About this Event
Join The Gowanus Dredgers for our annual paddle-in screening of 1954's Creature from the Black Lagoon. It's your last chance to join us for an on-the-water cinematic event this season, so don't miss it! Costumes encouraged.
We'll meet at the Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse (165 2nd St.), but the screening takes place on the Gowanus Canal, with on-water seating in the Gowanus Dredger fleet of canoes. We'll provide lifejackets, paddles, and a guided voyage to the on-water theater.
Those wishing to paddle can reserve single tickets for up to three paddlers per boat. Solo paddlers will be paired with one other ticket holder. To view the film from shore or in your own watercraft, please reserve the appropriate ticket to receive precise location details by email on the day of event.
Weather may cancel.
