As part of our Tuesday Paddle Club, we paddle around different places in our local areas, either around Betty Island, in Prospect, Lower Prospect or Terence Bay. Where we paddle around will be determined by sea state and weather conditions for that day. We will inform everyone a few days before the date if conditions warrant a change in route plan or not.
What you need to know:
We will be paddling in more exposed areas so we ask that you are confident in your paddling ability so as to successfully participate in these paddles. We recommend that you have skills equivalent to Paddle Canada Level 1 or higher. There will be skilled and caring guides with you the entire time. Please dress appropriately for a day on the water.
This is a great opportunity to enhance your paddling skills in moving water and active conditions while being accompanied by a competent instructor and guide from ECO. It is a chance to meet and paddle with others and to meet new paddling buddies!
Cost: $40 plus tax (includes: kayak, paddle, spray skirt, life jacket, guide, and all required safety gear) if you outfit yourself fully, the cost is $25 plus tax.
