Paddle 4 Food Relay to benefit the Bellingham Food Bank. All paddle craft are invited to the most fun relay race of the year. Registration: https://register.pacificmultisports.com/Events/1332/Register?RegId=89616
Sign up individually. Teams will be assigned equitably on the day of the race. The format will be the same as recent years:
- teams of 4 boats must complete 9 laps
- there will be three 3-lap stages, with a separate mass start for each stage
- every boat must do at least 2 laps
- laps do not need to be consecutive
Entry is any non-perishable food items or $ donation.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE
8:00 check-in opens.
If you have registered online just say "hi" and pick up your hat. Super easy!
If you haven't registered online you will need to fill out a 9-page questionnaire and provide 3 forms of identification before being vetted by a panel of Barnacles who will determine if you are fit enough to race. It is recommended to register online.
9:30 race meeting.
We will discuss details about the race format, start sequence, course and other important information.
9:45 team assignment
Teams will be announced. Meet with your teammates and figure out your strategy. First paddler should get on the water immediately.
10:00 Race Start!
Start of first 3-lap stage. After the last team has finished 3 laps there will be a short break before the next start (laps 4-6). Stay alert and be ready to go when it's your turn! Repeat for laps 7-9.
12:30ish awards and raffle
Once all teams have completed 9 laps we will announce the relay winners and raffle off prizes. Be sure to stick around for the group photo!
