Be Part of Portage County’s 2nd Annual Food Drive Competition!
The Portage County Business Council is excited to announce our 2nd annual Pack the Pantry Food Drive — and we’re calling on YOU to help make a difference!
Summer can be especially hard on families facing food insecurity. With kids out of school, local pantries are more in need than ever.
We’re teaming up with Metro Market, NRG Media, and Muzzy Broadcasting for a fun, friendly competition between Plover and Stevens Point to see which location can collect the most non-perishable food.

Plover Metro Market — benefits Interfaith Food Pantry
Stevens Point Metro Market — benefits Operation Bootstrap and Community Thrift Food Pantry
📅 Donation Day: Friday, June 19th
🛍️ Starting June 6th, you can buy a $5 pre-packed donation bag in-store!
This year, we will also be having a BRAT FRY at both locations!! Proceeds will also be going to the pantries!!
