On Monday, March 23rd at 5:30 p.m. at Kailua District Park in Kailua, HI. The United States Coast Guard Band will present a free concert under the direction of Captain Adam R. Williamson and CWO Jeffrey A. Spenner. We will also be joined on stage by many of our colleagues from the US Pacific Navy Fleet Band based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickman!Programs include iconic music by Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Schwartz, Percy Grainger, Samuel Barber and others. You might hear “Defying Gravity” from the hit show Wicked, a dazzling jazz clarinet concerto, a joyous french horn concerto, Sousa marches, or a beautiful setting of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
Coast Guard Band concerts are free and open to the public. This event will not require tickets and is open seating.
