The Pennsylvania Open – A Matchroom Rankings EventPA Pro-Am Pool, in conjuction with Matchroom Sports, presents The Pennsylvania Open. A 128 player World Nineball Tour open field 4 day 2 Stage event. The event will be held at Bluegrass Billiards. 9490 Bluegrass Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114. The event will be on Thursday Sept 12th at 9am and will conclude on Sunday Sept 15th. Stage 1 will be a double elimination bracket with races to 9 on both sides to narrow the field down to the final 32 players for Stage 2. Stage 2 will be a single elimination bracket with races to 9 ,11 in the semi-finals and 13 in the finals. A beautiful Pennsylvania Open championship belt will be presented to the winner courtesy of TrophySmack.com. 25% of the total field will be paid out. There will be $10,000USD minimum added to this event. There will be a player auction on Wednesday Sept 11th at 7:00pm at Bluegrass Billiards
Matchroom World Rankings will be used to determine seeding. The event will be held with Matchroom player and break rules (break box). It will be played on 25 Brunswick tables.
Digital Pool will be on-site streaming 24 of the tables. PA Pro-Am Pool will be streaming the main table with guest commentary by Scott Frost, Josh Setterfield and many other big names in the pool world!
The Inaugural PA Pro-Am One-Pocket Pennsylvania State Championship with money added will be on Tuesday Sept 10-Wednesday Sept 11th
The 2nd Annual Pennsylvania State Juniors 14U & 18U will be on Saturday Sept 14th. Both event will be apart of the Pennsylvania Open week hosted at Bluegrass Billiards!
Dress Code: Smart Polos or player jerseys are permitted. Trousers and smart trainers/shoes. Player may only wear up to 4 sponsor logo patches on their clothing.
