PA Employer Peer Support Group - SCC DP Team

An in person event for PA Employers to come together and gain knowledge and advice around all aspects of employing a PA.
About this Event

SILC would like to invite all Employers of PAs to our peer support group at Astolat Guildford.

The event will be an opportunity to meet peers also employing personal assistants (PAs), learn more about your responsibilities as an employer and what support is available, ask questions, chat to peers and enjoy a cuppa together.

Managers from Surrey County Council's Direct Payment Team will be in attendance to ask your opinions and gain knowledge of your experiences with Direct Payments. They would like feedback on the following areas:

“My experience getting started with Direct Payments”

“Support & communication from the council”

“What works well / what I value”

“What needs to change”

There will also be an opportunity for you to ask them any questions that you have for SCC about DPs.

There will a break for refeshments. Please feel free to bring your own packed lunch. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits will be provided by SILC.

This will be a relxed and informal event.
