Ozark Foundation’s OZ Kids™ Crit Championship Series – a bike race series for kids ages 2 -10, first stop is Pea Ridge Second Saturday! Are you ready for this much awesome?!
Race categories are grouped by age. We have races for both balance bikes and bikes with pedals. Each racer gets a numbered race plate with a timing chip...because they are LEGIT...and a totally rad medal. The top three times in each category will stand on a podium and collect their prize!
Points awarded during this race will count toward the OZ Kids™ Crit Championship Series Overall Podium. The OZ Kids™ Crit Championship Series Overall Podium will be celebrated at the final race in Bentonville, October 17. Click here for series rules and point structure. Registration is required for all racers. Space for the race is limited. Race fee is $15. Register for the full four-race series and save: series fee is $50
Race Venue:
Fun, winding, multi-surface course, consisting mostly of grass, at Pea Ridge City Park, 2344 Hayden Road in Pea Ridge.
Event Schedule:
2:00 p.m. - Course opens for warm-up
2:30 p.m. - Races begin - any necessary adjustments to race schedule will be communicated the week prior
2:35: Balance Ages 2-3 Wave 1 (one lap) -staging/ line up at 2:30
2:45: Balance Ages 2-3 Wave 2 (one lap) -staging/ line up at 2:35
2:55: Balance Ages 4-6 (one lap) - staging/line up at 2:45
3:05: Pedal Ages 3-4 (two laps)- staging/line up at 2:55
3:15 p.m. - Podium awards
3:25: Pedal Ages 5-6, Girls (four laps)-staging/ line up at 3:20
3:35: Pedal Ages 5-6, Boys (four laps) - staging/line up at 3:25
3:45: Pedal Ages 7-8, Girls (five minutes + one lap)- staging/ line up at 3:35
3:55: Pedal Ages 7-8, Boys (five minutes + one lap)-staging/ line up at 3:45
4:05: Pedal Ages 9-10, Girls (eight minutes + one lap)-staging/ line up at 3:55
4:15: Pedal Ages 9-10, Boys (eight minutes + one lap)-staging/ line up at 4:05
4:15 p.m. - Podium
Racers must be on-site and ready to go, with their wristband on and race plate affixed to their bike, 30 minutes prior to their race start time.

Thursday, May 7 – 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Ozark Foundation warehouse located at 703 SW A Street in Bentonville (next to Thai Kitchen)
Friday, May 8 – 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at The Garage, 190 Smith Street, Pea Ridge
On-site race packet pick-up will be open at 12:00 p.m. Race packets include the race plate (with chip timing) and color-coded wristband.
