Oz Hardwick Book Launch Actioning the New University

We are privileged and delighted to welcome Professor Oz Hardwick at the Leeds launch of his new poetry book, Actioning the New University (Yaffle Press 2026), an absurdist sequence on death by corporatisation, of which reviewers have written:
This latest collection from veteran prose poet Oz Hardwick has more than a little of the powerful political rage and dazzlingly surrealist poetry of Kenneth Patchen. It paints the world we live in.
Ian Seed
In these deft, strange, and often surprising prose poems we come face to face with what happens if we take things too literally and circumvent social and personal norms. Actioning the new University showcases Hardwick’s savage wit, his eagle eye, ahis wonderful sense of the ridiculous and his mastery of language.
Rupert Loydell
With its extreme wordplay and scathing wit, Actioning the New University dazzles with righted chaos. Throughout, Hardwick displays a fascination for language as a living, growing thing with unprecedented capacity for mischief and coercion. High-spirited, yet deadly serious
Dominique Hecq.
