About this Event

For nearly a century, New England & Mid-Atlantic watermen competed for the abundant seabeds of the East Coast in hostile & violent skirmishes known as the Oyster Wars. Today, there's no war, just a coming together of the finest oyster farms, best breweries & most talented chefs.

On Sunday, October 11th, please join us at The Salt Line as we host an afternoon event showcasing the talents of some of the best local chefs, breweries, and oyster farms spanning the Eastern Seaboard! Your ticket price includes oysters and tastings from the following chefs and restaurants. Featured chef's tastings will be served from 3-6PM, and a la carte brewery selections will be available via cash bar.

VIP Ticket holders will gain admittance an hour early at 2PM - providing exclusive access to oyster farm and chef tables as well as first access to beer offerings. VIP Ticket Holders will also receive a complimentary cocktail at the door! Festivities will continue on throughout the evening until the taps run dry.

The afternoon and early evening's festivities will also include live music and DJs Stylus Chris and Harry Hotter.

A portion of each ticket sale will go to support Oyster Recovery Partnership who celebrates 30 years of oyster habitat restoration which directly benefits the Chesapeake Bay.

In addition to a limited amount of Early Bird General AdmissionTickets, we have added an Early Bird VIP Ticket!

Early Bird Ticket sales begin Wednesday, August 24th at 10am. Sales continues until September 14th or until we run out - whichever happens first!

Early Bird VIP ticket holders will gain entrance to Oyster Wars 1 hour early (2PM) with first access to all chef stations, oyster shucking station, and entertainment! Early Bird General Admission gain entrance at 3PM.

FAQ:

- This event is Rain or Shine. Tickets are nonrefundable.

- All guests must be 21+ and have a valid ID.

-The Salt Line LOVES dogs! Because this event setup will be a bit tight, we encourage guests to leave pups at home for the afternoon so everyone can comfortably enjoy the tasting booths. We’d love to welcome them back after 6 PM once the event concludes!

- We encourage ride share and safe transit if you are driving, but hourly public parking is available at Dock 79 parking garage or the Maren outdoor lot.

Info: All Chef & Oyster Stations are open! Enjoy additional complimentary bites by The Salt Line. All beer, wine, and cocktail stations will be open and serving beverages for purchase. Live music throughout! Be sure to stick around til the end, chef Joy will be dishing out some of our favorite desserts yet.
