Oyster Art Dish and Education *Fall Themed*
About this Event
Oyster Art Dish and Education Event!
Join Floirda Sea Grant Agent Dr. Megan Moore to create your own decorative oyster dish or ornaments to take home and learn about the amazing benefits of oyster reefs while you create!
Come to the workshop for a fun and creative event where you’ll get to make your very own oyster shell art dishes! While you craft, you’ll also learn all about the benefits of oysters in our environment. It’s a relaxed, hands-on way to connect with nature and express your artistic side.
Oyster shell dishes are made using a Decoupage technique, so no artistic skill is needed! We use decorative papers to transfer designs onto the shells. We will provide you with all of the materials you need to make 3 oyster dishes to take home! We have many designs to choose from, including ocean, flowers, butterflies, and basic pattern designs. To celebrate fall, we also have fall and Halloween-themed decor options!
Perfect for anyone curious about oysters or looking for a unique art experience this season. Come ready to create and discover!
