Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating books, readers, and Canadian storytelling at the 2026 Oxford Reads Gala!

Oxford County Library and Woodstock Public Library are thrilled to welcome acclaimed Canadian author Claire Cameron, whose memoir How to Survive a Bear Attack is this year's Oxford Reads selection.

Hosted by Oxford County Warden Marcus Ryan, the evening will feature an intimate conversation with Claire Cameron as she shares the inspiration behind her acclaimed book, reflects on her writing journey, and explores themes of resilience, family, and the stories that shape us.
