OWP Literacy Lab Summer 2026 Southeast Edition

OWP is coming to Southeast Oklahoma!
OWP will be hosting a 2 Day Literacy Lab.
Teachers will strengthen reading/writing instructional strategies with students.
Location: Kiamichi Technology Center 810 Waldron Drive Durant, Oklahoma , 74701.
Participants will collaborate to connect pieces of Science of Reading with best practices from the Oklahoma Writing Project.
Participants will experience writing groups and how to use them in the elementary classroom.
Participants will gather a toolbox of strategies and ideas to immediately implement with students!
This will be a hands on workshop where teachers learn from each other to strengthen literacy activities in the upcoming school year!

Time: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
11:30-12:30 Lunch will be on Your Own
Audience: Teachers Grades Kdg-6th
Cost: $250 per person after July 6
