Many women in midlife and beyond start to experience the Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause. Symptoms include low libido, vaginal dryness, painful sex, increased urinary incontinence, and urinary tract infections. The primary driver is loss of estrogen, but it can also be caused by cancer treatment and ovary removal. Symptoms will not get better if left untreated.
