Heirloom by Deya captures the beautiful, meaningful moments of motherhood and family life through timeless photography designed to become treasured heirlooms for generations. We're excited to welcome Deya to this month's swap! A proud Latina, mama of two boys, and entrepreneur, Deya is passionate about creating meaningful community and living with intention. Whether she's embracing her Pilates era or building her dream business, she believes in the power of bringing people together.

She loves that clothing swaps give our community the opportunity to refresh our wardrobes sustainably, make new connections, and ensure that every remaining item continues its journey by being donated to someone who can use it. Deya will be swapping items directly from her closet so make sure to stop by, say hello, and help us celebrate another incredible woman making a positive impact in our community.

What to Bring

We’re creating a curated shopping experience, so please bring pieces that reflect quality, style, and are in excellent condition, gently used items you would gift a friend.

Especially Desired:

• Gently worn plus size clothing

• Natural fabrics such as linen, silk, cotton, cashmere, wool, and leather

• High-quality denim

• Unique one of a kind pieces

• Handmade and artisan samples

Every item should be freshly cleaned, free of stains, odors, tears, missing buttons, or needed repairs.

Bring a bag!

Clothing tip: wear form fitting tank tops or shorts underneath to lessen exposure when trying on clothes. (Optional)

Please leave these at home

To keep the swap curated, we kindly ask that you do not bring:

• Heavily worn items

• Clothing with stains, holes, pilling, or damage

• Items better suited for donation

• Undergarments, swimwear, shoes, or socks

• Jewelry and accessories

Our goal is quality over quantity—think boutique closet rather than donation bin.

How it works:

Purchase a ticket and swap 1 item for 1 item or join the Swap Society and swap till you drop with the "shopping pass". Members unlock unlimited swapping at all locations, and other perks!

Leftover items are either saved for the next swap, given to artists to upcycle or donated to local Sacramento non-profits Weave, CASH, Heritage Oaks Hospital, and Cathy's Closet.

81 pounds have been donated to artists to upcycle and the listed non-profits thanks to the swap community! This extends the life of garments, keeping them out of the landfill and helps those in need.

Schedule:

First 20 minutes, check in and mingle with swappers

Swapping begins and continues throughout the event with wrap up starting 30 minutes to end of event

Arrive on time for the best picks!
