Join the OVFGC at the Orangevale Library this month, where we welcome Member Baldo Villegas, who will discuss insects and mites of the home garden.
Baldo is a former Senior Environmental Research Scientist with the CA Dept of Food and Agriculture, a Master Rosarian with the Sierra Foothills Rose Society, and he has lived and gardened in Orangevale for decades. He will share his vast knowledge of local insects and how we can use Integrated Pest Management techniques to help protect our gardens. Short business meeting to follow.
Free. Gardeners and friends from all areas are welcome to join us! Our sharing table will be available, and we will have a box for Food Bank donations.
No snacks or refreshments will be served this meeting. Get there early and support local business "Hot Off the Griddle" in the same parking lot!
