About this Event
Are you looking for new ideas to naturally transform your food and plant waste into something useful for your garden? Come learn about the many techniques available for at-home recycling of all your organic wastes, including hot composting, worm composting, Hügelkultur, Bokashi, trenching, tumblers, and Interbay mulch. This overview class will help you decide your next steps.
We'll meet in the Pavilion for the presentation and then head over to the WSU Master Gardener's demonstration garden (a short walk) to see their examples of composting in action.
Parking is free and plentiful but may be impacted during nice weather and ball games FYI.
Be sure to register for follow-up information, last minute changes, etc.
This class will be taught simultaneously via Zoom. Visit www.PierceCountyWa.gov/EarthMattersSeries to register for the Zoom link.
