The Gong is a most powerful tool for self-healing. An overnight Gong Bath Puja is a deep all night sound meditation. A puja consists of ten consecutive, 45-minute gong sessions and lasts around 7.5 hrs.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to experience a profound energetic shift and reap the deeply healing effect of the vibrational energy. Exposure to the vibration for this period will help you to:
• Shift your vibration and awaken the pineal gland to limitless possibilities,
• Reset the neurological system, free yourself from old programming,
• Let go of stress, anxiety, and depression.
• Let go of emotion and behaviour that no longer serve you,
• Release deep held trauma from the mind and body,
• Release illness and disease from the body,
• Release and close a chapter in your life,
• Manifest an abundant life, health, wealth, happiness.
• Free your mind to see your clear pathway,
• Send out your goals and aspirations to the universe,
• Cleanse and repair your aura,
• Awaken your spiritual connection with the universal oneness.
During a puja, you will rest through the night into the early morning, while being bathed in the low-level healing sound vibrations played by an experienced gong player. This will lead to a meditative state or possibly even a lucid dreaming state.
What is the schedule?
9pm you are welcome to arrive and start to set-up your space.
9.30pm the puja will commence with some (optional) heart-opening ceremonial grade cacao from Peru,
9.45pm the 7 ½ hour gong immersion will commence.
5.15am the gong playing will with finish, then an extended period for silence to allow the body to return to a natural restored frequency, this sacred time is called Shunya.
6.30am You are welcome to remain after the puja finishes for refreshments, then we are required to clear and vacate the hall by 6.30am the Saturday.
It is recommended after the Gong Bath that you have a light day which is not too demanding following this experience. Please hydrate well over the following 3 days.
What might I like to bring with me?
• Wear comfortable warm clothes to move around and to rest in.
• An exercise mat, or two for thickness; or inflatable camping bed, a sleeping bag or blanket or duvet, and pillow. Some people like to have a pillow for under the knees for comfort.
• Eye mask or scarf across the eyes.
• Ear plugs, sometimes people fall asleep and snore. Ear plugs will not prevent you from receiving the benefits of the gong frequency.
• Water bottle with water, and a travel mug if you would like a hot drink.
• A low light torch or light on your phone. Lighting will be dim but not fully darkened. Some people worry about moving around in dim light.
• Snacks to share in the morning if you would like to contribute (Optional).
During the puja absolute silence is observed, except for the gongs. Mobile phones are switched off or be on silent with notifications turned off. You may exit the puja for necessary visits to the bathroom, though we ask you to make as little noise as possible while exiting and returning to the room.
If you have any medical conditions requiring special arrangements or medication, then this should be brought with you, please make your facilitators aware on the medical declaration. Discuss any concerns with us to ensure that we can accommodate your needs.
IMPORTANT: A puja is not suitable for:
Gong baths in general are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from active epileptic seizure/fits, or anyone who is extremely sensitive to sound. Also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. Hearing aids should be switched off. If you have any concerns, please seek medical advice in advance. If you fall ill with any contagious virus or influenza please do not attend and spread it to us all.
We are very excited to have you with us on this beautiful journey.
