Have you been wondering what all the hype is about for Overlanding ? Well , Here is your chance to come check it all out. Overland 101 is a full day of covering EVERYTHING overland related . Overland 101 is designed for folks that are interested in getting out into nature and experiencing what the outdoors have to offer. Everyone is welcome to join us
Attendees will be treated to the most comprehensive outdoor adventure and overlanding knowledge available .

Saturday night camping included ( Festival style on site with porta johns ) group campfire

1. Rigs - different vehicle types , suvs, trucks , cars and crossovers RWD, AWD and 4WD
2. Tires - different types , highway , all terrain , mud terrain and hybrids
3. Basic recovery skills , proper winching techniques , suggested recovery gear
4. Navigation - all you need to know about different methods and applications
5. Gear - COMPLETE EXPLANATION OF EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND WHAT YOU DONT .
a. Tents - Ground tents , roof top tents , bed tents , truck canopies , etc
b. Awnings - Traditional , Batwing style , EZ-UPs and Tarps
c. Cooking - Skottles , griddles, classic propane single and dual burners , jet boils
d. Heaters - propane , diesel , electric , etc
e. Storage - Pelican cases, soft bags , zarges style , drawer systems, etc

The group will meet at Shoppes on the Parkway in Blowing Rock NC at 9:30am on March 22. We will caravan as a group to the event area.
