Overcoming Vaccine Hesitancy Through Motivational Interviewing

Dr. Aaron Hunt, MPH, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Public Health Program at Utah State University and serves as the Health & Wellness Specialist for Utah State University Extension. He earned his PhD in Public Health from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and has extensive experience in various public health domains, including substance use, mental health, maternal and child health, vaccine promotion, and infectious disease prevention. Dr. Hunt collaborates with USU Extension offices statewide to develop and implement programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of all Utahns.

• Creating Brain-Friendly Vaccine Messaging Using Neuromarketing Principles: Explore how to craft impactful vaccine education materials that resonate with your audience. Using neuromarketing principles employed by major brands, this session will provide strategies to design compelling flyers, brochures, and social media content that strengthen vaccine confidence and promote public health.
