Over the River and Through the Woods... with Maria Jette & Philip Brunelle
About this Event
Family, Friends, Food, and Fauna on Thanksgiving
Maestro Maestro Philip Brunelle and soprano Maria Jette are joined by baritone James Bohn in songs and stories for Thanksgiving, from merry to meditative: friends, family, food, and fauna…including a rare duet for two turkeys!
Maria Jette and James Bohn: Vocals
Philip Brunelle: Piano
VocalEssence’s Philip Brunelle—a champion of both forgotten choral masterworks and living composers—has conducted operas and choral works worldwide, and is in his 50th year as organist-choirmaster at Plymouth Congregational in Minneapolis. Maria Jette has sung everything from Baroque opera to world premieres with practically all the local orchestras and chamber music organizations, plus major music festivals at home and abroad. James Bohn’s long and colorful career in opera and oratorio is balanced by his longtime remodeling biz, Singular Design—and 7 years as the anthem singer for The Wild!
