Fundraising can sometimes be a tall task, but on August 3rd, 2024, the Burlington Area United Way is taking fundraising to new heights with Over The Edge - an innovative fundraising event hosted by F&M Bank & Trust. The event will see over 90 thrill-seeking participants rappel 9 stories down the F&M Bank Building - the tallest building in Southeast Iowa!

Who can rappel?
Rappelers must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds to ensure their safety while rappelling. People in their 80s and 90s rappel! The only restriction is that anyone under the age of 18 requires a parent or guardian’s signature on the legal waiver.
