Cuppers Aquathlon is back on Sunday 19th May with OUTriC!All that stands between you and college glory is a 200 m swim followed by a 3 km run, what could be easier?
This a really relaxed event, with all abilities welcome, from first-timers to seasoned triathletes. Come give multi-sport a go and get all your friends involved!
College teams are made up of 3 individuals in either an open or female category, so make sure you bring your college friends along to prove you're from the ultimate college.
Entry is free, and snacks and prizes will be provided!
The event will run from 14:15 until 15:30, with registration opening at 13:15.

How does it work?
13:15 Registration opens
13:30 Start setting up your transition (shoes for running, towel etc)
13:50 Race briefing (trackside)
14:00 Short pool warm-up
14:20 First swimmer is set off
Swim:
- 200m swim in staggered starts. Participants will start at 30 sec time intervals, in approximate order of speed.
- Lifeguard cover provided by staff at the OUISC.
- Diving starts are prohibited.
- Optional short warm up in the pool begins at 14:00.
- First swimmer set off at 14:20
T1
- Walk from the poolside to the fire escape to the track.
- No nudity in transition!
- No bare chests while running (put a t-shirt on)
- Put shoes on
Run (Map in discussion!)
- Start at the OUISC track- leave by side gate and turn left, following the road past the entrance to the sports centre towards meadow lane
- Cross Jackdaw Lane and turn left then right onto Meadow Lane (marshall to monitor crossing)
- Run until reaching bollards just after Fairacres Road crossing (marshalled)
- Go back down Meadow Lane towards Jackdaw Lane.
- Turn right onto Jackdaw Lane
- Cross Jackdaw Lane
- Turn left onto Iffley Road and head towards OUISC north east entrance
- Turn left into the sports centre drive and re-enter track through side gate
- Finish with a lap of the Iffley Road track See less
