Outfit the Ensemble is an over-the-top runway fashion event that highlights the creativity of our community while raising funds for Clear Space Theatre's annual costume expenses. Sponsors dress their models with unique looks to walk the runway. Audience members tip their favorite models and then bid on the loooks in a live auction.
Individuals and businesses have the opportunity to sponsor individual models, creating unique looks for their models to showcase on the runway during the event. Models can be tipped on the runway (or in advance with venmo!) and once guests have seen all the looks, an auction for each look will begin. The winning look of the night is the one that goes to the highest bidder.
A $25 ticket includes admission to the event and heavy appetizers provided by The Starboard. Runway, bar, and impresario sponsors get complimentary tickets to the event as well as drink tickets. Other guests can enjoy cash bar knowing that 20% of the proceeds from all bar sales go back to Clear Space Theatre Company.
Each year the event will take its theme from a different one of our summer productions. For 2024, we've chosen the new musical The Prom as our theme. So, expect wild and fun prom looks on the runway all night - from traditional prom looks with a little flair to things like prom tuxes that can double as a wet suit or prom dresses made out of pool noodles or set construction materials. It's a great mix of fun, classy, over the top, and outrageous - just like Clear Space!
