Join LAFS / RAFT families at this exclusive swimming event at Leicestershire’s only Lido in Ashby.The Event is restricted to max of 60 swimmers so it will be on a first come & first paid basis.
Cost is £5 per swimmer, free for spectators.
No refund unless event is cancelled by organiser.
Payment will need to be made to RAFT bank account, please contact Chris at [email protected] for the bank details (if you don't have them already) and to confirm the number of swimmers and spectators.
We have not included catering to keep the cost down but drinks and food can be purchased from the poolside kiosk during the event. This is dependent on the number of people attending so please encourage your friends to attend as well. From our experience in recent years, the cheesy chips were really popular.
No outside food / drinks allowed except tap water in bottles.
Please indicate number of swimmers attending in a comment when you indicate you are ‘going’.
Child under 8yo need to be supervised by an adult in the water at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children (under 8yo)
The pool has a shallow end where non swimmers can splash around.
Please book up soon so we can let the Lido management know numbers and then confirm catering.
