Summertime in the south is filled with bugs - actually bugs are everywhere, and in some places a staple food. Now its time for you to put on your adventurous hat and try some of these edible crawlers and wrigglers.
During this outdoor cooking class you will have an opportunity to snack on and sample a variety of edible bugs, from crickets, grasshoppers, silkworms and more. Then we will make a batch of Smoky BBQ Cricket Tacos.. yum!
This outdoor cooking class is for ladies only (minor females are welcome with a female parent/guardian - but each person must register). Due to the sourcing of supplies for this class we must have a minimum of 5 people registered.
Cost for the class is $20.00 and includes the Outdoor cooking class, a take home copy of the step by step recipe and our food to try. Pre-Registration is required!!
Class will be held at the Wild Outdoor Learning Center - 621 2nd Ave, Suite A Columbus GA 31901 and will start at 6:00PM EST on Tuesday June 25th.
