inspireU continues the Inspired Concert Series on the rooftop* with Kansas City artist Dino O’Dell! Your family will enjoy his interactive approach to songs and tall tales that inspire laughter and stirs the imagination.
The Inspired Concert Series, made possible by the generosity of Jon and Jeni Doolittle, gives our region’s children a unique music experience that sparks curiosity and builds connections in a large group setting.
Join Dino O’Dell for a kid-friendly concert entitled “Out of this World: Music and Stories from the Milky Way”.
Whether learning about a solar eclipse, exploring our galaxy, or speaking space alien, this adventure through space is packed with interactive songs, stories and animations that are interesting, fun, and educational.
Whether he's fixing spaceships, counting monsters or swimming in peanut butter, Dino is a master at educating kids. A former preschool and elementary music teacher, Dino utilizes music, stories and animations to engage and entertain.
Make a fun day of play out for the whole family! inspireU Children’s Discovery Center, located at 521 Felix St. St. Joseph, MO 64501, is a 35,000 square foot facility, featuring over 20 core exhibits, a rooftop exploratorium, interactive play areas, and educational spaces for children ages birth to 10 and their families.
The Inspired Concert Series is included with the cost of general admission. inspireU will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, September 13.

Please note: inspireU Children’s Discovery Center will be closed September 9-11 for their bi-annual maintenance. The facility will reopen for regular hours on Friday, September 12. Join us Saturday, September 13 at 10:30 a.m. for a kid-friendly concert, included with general admission to inspireU Children’s Discovery Center.
